Resand

The circular sand company

Live Webflow website

Today, metal foundries produce around 70 million tons of waste sand each year. There is a way for foundries to recycle the vast majority of that and Resand and their novel technology have a solution. The Resand website was the first step of a complete brand renewal to better match their mission to stop sand waste. I worked as a UX and UI designer, helping the client reorganise the content and structure of the website while expressing the renew brand in the user interface.

Starting Point

With this important mission at the core of the company, it was crucial to address the challenges related to communication. The previous websites struggled with information architecture and the structure of page content, making it difficult for users to grasp the significance of the message and the solutions offered by Resand.

Approach

The redesign introduced a more structured information architecture, reorganizing content and refining user pathways to make information easily accessible. Smart, modular, and responsive templates, combined with flexible WordPress modules, empower editors to present complex content in a clear, well-organized way. Additionally, the use of dramatic nature photos enhance engagement while strengthening Resand's message of ecological emergency. A modernist headline typeface, and the color palette represents the transformation from dark, used sand to a clearer shade, symbolizing the heat of the process of cleaning and recycling waste sand.
